Hello, to everbody out there visiting mentalstandby.com!



We´re from Düsseldorf, Germany.

Introducing msb



Actually formed in 2009. After some chaotic "internal, organizational and local" changes, we were not really sure, if we want to be a unplugged cover band, like thousands other bands in this world or be a band with something special.

After an experimental phase, we finally found our way, or better our style.

So, after our new singer joined us in Oct. 2011 and a new bass in Nov. 2011, we got the feelin' to be complete as a band. Like we ever wanted to be. To have a classical Rock set of 2 guitars, a bass, vocal and drums. Pretty soon we began to exhaust our potential to write our own songs. We had creative explosions with an output of about 10 Songs in 3 month time!

Style



Sometimes soft, sometimes heavy and loud.

We call it just : pure, straight and hand made Rock !!! 

Current Plan and forecast



a) Tryin' hard to fix, grind and arrange our raw material into final, rockable and...of course...audible versions

b) recording our rockin' stuff asap 

c) playin' some gigs within 2012
